I’m looking for the clips used by the Germans to hang extra links of track to the sides of the turret for my 1/16 Tiger. [:D] I know that they come with that monster Aber set for $199.99, but I’d rather not dish out that much for only a few parts. [:0] I asked the boys at www.airconnection.on.ca and they said that the parts MIGHT be in a couple of their other sets. The problem is, I can’t see the parts clearly enough to make them out from all the rest! [8]
Anybody out there have any suggestions?
Thank you very much Erock. Oh man, a close up view of the BIG Aber set revealed that it also provides you with working spring loaded hatches! Oh, this is not good… Hey, thanks again and let me know if you find something. I’m going to check out their other kits and see if they’re in there.
Okieboy, looking through their partial sets I don’t think they include the brass track hangers unless you get the full set. I didn’t see the steel cables with any of them either. [:(]
Hmmm, I can build my own steel cables, that’s relatively minor. But I must find some track hangers. I’m not good enough to scratch build them. [B)] Oh well, I’ve always said that you can find anything in the world on the net. Looks like it’s time to find out if it’s true. [;)]
Hey guys, I found real steel cables at a link on the FRAG armor site. (Model Masters LLC) [:)] I don’t know how much they cost yet though. No luck yet with the track hangers yet. [:(]
