Hello all,
Just got back into modeling after a little break…quick question. What is the best late Tiger 1 model out there right now? Any info. would be great!
Thanks,
Chad
Dragons, Tiger I late 3 in 1, best price and crazy accessories.
From the reviews i have seen so far and the price I’d vote Dragon 3 in 1 too! Over 700 pieces… with brass, photo-etched, etc…
Dragon’s 3 in 1models are to modelers what doughnuts are to Homer Simpson.
but Homer traded his soul for a sandwich…
after playing around with a Academy mid with interior, Tamiya Late, i’d say the dragon late 3 in 1 just gotta be the way to go and you get to avoid the hefty prices from more AM parts.
[#ditto]Just get it now!! No get two!!
Dragons Tiger 1 late,
I think that Dragon’s Late has become kit-of-the-year material in many eyes. Can’t wait to get mine, even though it will be many moons before I get to it.
DML late Tiger 1 is the best late Tiger on the market. Nothing else comes close. I bought mine at the south Hobbytown.
well everybody else has mentioned the new DML kit. Suree it looks like an incredible kit, but you may want something different if your are just coming back. The tamiya tiger 1 late has few pieces, great fit and good detail. It would be a good build if you want to start off with something simple. If not, go with the DML kit, or the little mention AFV club kit, most accurate late tiger out there.
Tamiya late:

DML Initial (converted):

I don’t think you can go wrong with either, I echo previous comments - if you enjoy more complexity, go with DML.

Steve
Where I live I don’t have any acces to DML kits but what I see makes me jealous well I just started modeling with “Zvezda” 1/35 …compared to the DML it’s not a nice kit at all no extras no figures no photo-etched parts…solid panels … …I think I’ll try to put my hands on a DML Tiger as soon as possible.
I’ll have to go with the general consensus and say Dragon 3-in-1 Tiger I late.
Alrite which one of ya bastards is keeping on taking the late version 3 in 1 tiger away from me on ebay!!! every time i finaly decide on getting one the auction gets ended with a buy it now… geeez. XP
you guy are lucky here in australia it still hasnt arrived in stores yet.but im still undecided on gettin the dml over the tamiya only because i had huge fit problems with my initial 3 n 1 tiger so we’ll see on what happens
