I’m wondering who make the best tiger 1 early, i’ve heard the tamiya one is inacurate
…although the Tamiya new generation of Tigers is pretty good, it is my understanding that they “muffed” the turret and made it a symetrical horseshoe shape…it is supposed to be asymetrical: more room on the gunner/commander side and less on the loader’s side…having said that it is not glaringly noticeable, and if you didn’t know any better you would never notice. In my opionion, DML makes the most accurate kit, as they corrected Tamiya’s issue…however, as we discussed before, the early version they did was a limited release thru CyberHobby of Wittman’s Tiger at Kursk. If you are stuck on doing a Tiger before DML’s is again available, I would buy the Tamiya kit.
i’ve heard the academy oe is good
it is good as well, just doesn’t fall together like the Tamiya kit, and some of the detail isn’t as crisp—although it does come with A FULL interior…not sure how the turret accuracy stacks up…
