I just recently started a Ferrari 360 Modena kit, and its calls for a few small parts to be painted titanium gold and titanium silver. I’ve been to 3 different hobby stores and have been unable to find either color. Does anyone know of a close alternative, or mixture? The Modena is the first model I’ve built in20 years, and honestly probably wouldn’t have started it, but I’ve been home for 3 months due to a dirt bike accident. Wish I’d had the kit when I’d first got home. I’m already eyeing the Enzo[:D] This site has been a great help in getting started back, and thanks in advance for any replies. Ed
Hi!
I think if you search the web for pictures of the real thing maybe you will find out what coulors Tamiya is refering to. As I’m currently at work I can’t tell what I choose om my 360 and Enzo. But I think that both the silver and gold one is a subtle shade of gold and silver in a titanium base. Use your imagination and I’m sure that it will turn out just fine.
Best regards from a sunny and warm Sweden.

Hey Zeke!
To answer your question, Tamiya sells titanium gold and silver in their acrylis bottle paints. X-31 and X-32 respectifully. I hope this helps
Thanks for the replies, I’ve tried several shops and none carried the exact color. Also having a hard time finding pictures of the parts to match color against. May try ordering paints on-line. Thanks again, Ed
