The old but good Monogram 105 in 48th, along with her “pilot…”

Love the camo on this one MR!! Whats up with the intakes on those Thuds?? Kinda weird looking with that reverse angle and all!

sigh…and my wife wonders why i cry myself to sleep [bow][bow] man you are just to good.

…hmmmmmmmm…my g/f does the same thing when she is going to sleep, but I think for different reasons…LOL…

[:O] OUCH!!!

That was a real zinger!!! [8D] Seriously, Eric, that is an outstanding THUD! The panel lines are perfect, IMHO, as is the overall camo effect. Thanks for sharing!

…no comments on the pilot?..hee hee hee…

Nice work on the THUD. What AM cockpit set did you use? I am sure that a bunch of horny old THUD drivers in NAM would have appreciated a pilot built like yours. Unfortunately, I don’t think that female pilots existed at all in the USAF at that time and definately not for combat aircraft. Oh well, one can always dream.

…if memory serves me correct: “Black Box”…

This is outstanding, Manny! Your “clean models” approach really shines here in aircraft…the panel line detail is spectacular!

Gotta stop using the tissue paper on the faces though…[swg]

wow…thanks, doog—you got that right about the tisse paper !!! gonna have to go back with some tweezers and optivisor to do some plucking…never saw them until I blew them up in these pics…LOL,

Very nice build of an old kit! The Thud has always been one of my favorites. You did a great job on the cockpit, noticed the detail on the canopy frames. A buddy “fixed” me up with the Trumpeter 1/32 kit and I don’t think I could do any better detail than what you accomplished on the 1/48. Great pictures too! Must have a very good camera.

…thanks, some of those old Monogram and Revell kits are still very good…notice the raised panel lines??? LOL

…what? no comment on my pilot?
