got an email from a buddy who’s clearing out a little of his overstocked models and he’s offering me his DML Coelian for 20 bucks… Don’t know much about this one, but the box art looks cool… any one have or build one that would help me decide?

THe first that I’m seeing the kit. It’s probably one of their old Panther hulls with a new turret and guns. For $20, I’d get one [:)]
its got the Dragon Ausf G hull (gung sango)
the guns need to be hollowed out at the muzzels as there solid, and theres no PE in the kit, its just been rereleased
so capt you think its worth it or should i hold off?

if the Dragon kits are $20 in shops over there i would try and beat the price down,
but if there $30 and you want the kit, get it of your mate
theres nothing new in there rerelease, and the only other kit out there of Coelians are the Resin turrets
the Coelian Panther only went as far as a wooden mock up

I’d definitely get it for $20…you won’t be able to beat that price at any store because of either taxes or shipping. It is one of the older kits as the good Captain points out, so be prepared for at least one wrong portion in the directions and the potential for fit/flash issues.

Sounds like you’re talking about the Panther F “Schmalturm” with the 88mm gun.
there is a paper panther with a puma turret, i dont know if thats what Beav is thinking of
hmmm, all I know, is that It has a very very small turret–I have micromachine of one(two) I think it is the one on the box
does it have twin AA guns or a single gun?
