First Berny. He’s gonna be scarce for a couple of weeks. Then Chris, steppin’ out for a bit and now me.
I am like Chris. I spend most of my time right here so I figured this would be as good a place as any to start.
As some of you already know, I am in the process of waiting. Waiting for Social Security to deny my disability claim so I’ll have to appeal and eventually get an, oh gosh I can’t believe I’m gonna say this. Get an attorney to get what’s mine in the first place. So, the internet and cable will be the first to go. My wife is our only source of income and this is their slow time so times is tight.
I will try and get to the library once in awhile and check in on everything. So, y’all keep building, keep giving good advice and don’t stop caring about the others.
Sorry to hear you have to “leave” us for a while. Seems the ordinary working folk can’t get a good break from the Gov’t. They just want us to bend over, take it and smile! Hope it all works out for you sooner than later!
Randie, keep in touch and good luck. You may really want to think about that lawyer and if you go that way, get one that speciaizes in SSDI if you can. E-mail me if you like going though the same thing myself
I will definately be checking in from time to time. As I said in another post, this place is the greatest and a lot of the reason for that is the people. A lot like family.

Good luck Randie, and just remember to KEEP FIGHTING. That always seems to be the ticket when dealing with any beurocratic process. SOmetimes hey just give in and sometimes they just get tired of hearing from ya.
