Here I am back into the hobby…working on my first kit in 5 years…and now I’m at a stopping point waiting for paint to come in the mail…and I’m getting the shakes!! Already thinking about my next build and it’s all I can do not to go on-line and order the kit!!! I now understand how most of you have dozens of unbuilt kits in your work room…I used to think that was crazy…but now I understand. Believe me…if I had more room, I would probably have a closet full by now.
Yes I understand at what you getting at, I’m the same way. For a moment I was went crazy in trying to find and buy as many B-52 kits, that I saw on ebay. But some times I just got to relaxy and calm down. lol
My wife asked me “Honey, do you think you have a bit too many models there?” My answer…“I don’t intend to kick the bucket until I finish building every one of those bloody things.” So let’s just call it extending my life…and have fun while I’m in the progress.
Just kidding ,sort of. Yes it is addiictive , and can also be quite educational and a creative outlet. Remember to keep model collecting and building in balance with the other important aspects of your life , such as friends , family, and important personal goals. Do this and all will be well.
All I can say is…YUP, your hooked [:P]. I have a store room full of unbuilt kits (more than 50!), and all I can think of is I want more and more and more and more and…well, you get the picture. Welcome to the insanity. Frank
