This guy makes pretty good money per build

I’ve seen his work many times. Always drawing top dollar. I wonder how long it takes him to bang out a kit?

Based on this other offering, I hope he sticks with armor… not enough signs of plastic surgery if you ask me…

Actually, I think he did a fantastic job on the face, especially the eyes and lips. The sculptor could have done better with the likeness in the face and his work on hte hair would make it hard to get a good a look as possible, but that’s not the painter’s fault.

The build time is the real trick. The bid when I checked was two-hundred and with the kit price subtracted he’s only netting about $170 or so (I’m not sure what a Dragon Panther goes for, so I guessed at $30). Although $170 sounds like a good chunk of change, certainly at the rate I build even if I focused on speed rather than model building enjoyment, I might not clear minimum wage! Hopefully he’s a lot faster, or maybe he really enjoys building, and doesn’t really care about filling up a display case.

Perhaps he just likes to build and the money helps finance the next build and so on. I agree it would be tough to make any real money. Maybe he’s even retired.

His build is very good I must say.
I checked out his site and his Marder II build is quite amazing.
For the amount he earn is very good, considering where I live, a guy that I knew that also sells his model sold for only 20-30 bucks.

The guys should work in some modelling magazine or something …
