I found a Hasagawa 1/32 P-51D’big beautiful doll’ on a website for $33.50$Im thinking bout getting it,should I?

When you do the math, $33.50 is a good price for the Big Beautiful Doll boxing of this kit because it retails for $42.98.

But the ‘run-of-the-mill’ boxing retails for $27.98, and the Checkertail Clan boxing goes for $35.50. And both of these can be found several dollars cheaper at various online stores.

My own opinion is that $33.50 is not what I would call a good price for any edition of this kit, simply because it is quite dated (25-30 years old I believe) and, more importantly, it can be had for much less than that.

However, in the end, only you can make the decision… if it is the subject matter that floats your boat and you really want the decals for the ‘Doll’ and don’t mind paying the money for an older kit, then go for it.
