Wanted to see what yall think. Im in a tight situation right now and I am out of money. I need some quick cash to pay for school. The painting is worth 10k. I have orig papers n all from the painter. Beautiful painting. I am thinking of selling it for 3-5k.
I have a freind who is an artist an owns a gallery. I could show them the painting and see what they think it might be worth. Who is the artist and is it a one of or a numbered series?

Its the original painting had a nic or two from ageing but other than that it’s in great shape. The Painter wrote me a letter saying it is worth $7-$10,000. It’s repairable. the painter is William S. Philips. I have another by Barrie A.F. Clark of a Hurricane at idle…both very nice. The hurricane painting has a hole in the upper left hand corner above the port side wing which is also repairable I think.
