…won’t be at AirVenture this year after all. I communicated with Reilly this morning to find out if the airplane had flown yet and it has not. Too bad. My wife and I were really looking forward to seeing Reilly and the XP-82 at the fly-in. These vintage warbirds live and operate on their own schedules. If they aren’t ready to fly, they don’t go. That’s all there is to it. Hopefully we can look forward to seeing the XP-82 at Sun n Fun 2019.
I’ve always wanted to see one of those, they seem very interesting. (The German equivelint is the Bf-109Z)
