The worst tank in the world!!

Now I want to open up this worst tank thing to more than just Germany. Sure they designed some very poor vehicles, like the Maus and the Panzer 1, But I know that this will top them all!!!

Meet, the KV-V1 Behemoth!![:O][:O][:O][wow][yuck][yuck][yuck]

One heck of a turning radius! Is that thing real?

Glenn

goog luck getting a u- turn in that!

hmmm, Id say the WWII Japenes tanks. small gun, thin armor and only 2 hatches for the chi ha witha crew of 4!

Boy were they desperate, 3 tanks put together, it’s hard to believe that it held the entire 6th Panzer Division for more than a day, it’s so big that I would say it’s hard to miss!! and the thing would have almost no manoeuvring ability!

worst Tank in the world is a Septic tank

My vote goes for the M60A2 “Starship”. Too complicated and over engineered. It had a ridiculous amount of wiring (a mile in length?) and was expensive.

Hey Stuka,
Why did you rate the pzk 1 as a worst tank? For the time and the reasons it was designed it was really good, and it laid the foundation for training, tactics ane design
that the allies didn’t match until very late in the war.
I think that the KV-V1 was someone’s april fools joke! I agree with Kaleu about the
60 starship but he left out the most important thing, It was the most unreliable piece of
junk ever put into production. But my personnel pick is the Brit tanks from the late '30s to
mid 40s, with the Frog tanks from the same period a close second. Just my 2 pennies,
Good Hunting,
G.W.

bashing the 30s to 40s british and french tanks is a bit harsh
they would have stopped the German invasion had they been used when and where the BEF had asked them to be used
they had better armour and guns than the German armour of that time

that is the hottest tank of all time. u guys all knock it but that thing could take out a tiger any day.

What about the polish tanketts?

Geheimnisseschwererpanzerkampfwagon

i think that says it all…
Secret Heavy Tank…

so i would say, that was an innovative idea-and remember its track record, at least 3 kills on aeroplanes, and think of the terror and morale boost to the respective armies, and with their own commisar jammed packed inside also, this was a complete self contained land ship. it is unfortunate that it shot itself in the proverbial achillies tendon… or that it commited suicide by pushing itself into a ditch…but anyways, that is a cool tank-they should make a kit…

But i think that the worst tank of all time, was, drum roll please, that funky tricycle thing that the russians made between the wars or during ww1, can’t remember its name, but it had three huge wheels to drive it, and like 6 mg’s…completely impracticle, or the A1 Independant from britain

I would have to go with Japanese and Italian tanks of WW II

ROTFLMAO!!! that thing is hilarious and very cool at the same time stukabomb88. Thanks for posting the link.

that things insane. looks like it was designed by a bunch of naval engineers who had a fetish with battleships. the first thing i thought of when i saw it was could you imagine changing track on that thing, omg. and as for manuverability, forget it. you better hope you see and hit the other guy first.

those wacky ruskies.

Looks like there would be only two directions of travel possible…forward and backwards!

If you read the article under it, it says just how lame the tank was. “It doesn’t have to turn… It’ll drive straight though!” I don’t think it would do much to a Tiger, when all the guns fired on one side, one of them tipped over and was destroyed immediatley. One even broke in half!

By the way, sorry rdxpress, It was a good tank, but from what people were saying in the german-bad-tank article, they said it was one of the worst. (I guess it was only of germany, so ignore me[:I])

Amazingly the Maus still outweighs it and could take it out without getting harmed by the bb 76mm guns. I like the Katayusha launcher on the turrret.

It has to be Italy’s M11/39 tank. It had a 37mm gun, 30mm max armor and a cross country speed of 7mph. The M13/40 was not much better.

TigerII

The crew should have have been given a warning before each firing of the guns - “This tank will self-destruct in 10 seconds”.

Look at the British Matilda I…there’s a lame tank, even the PzII could knock it out. The later Matilda II was a major improvement. The Japanese tanks were good as long as no one had a rock to throw at them LOL
