the white of their eyes

just taking a little poll how many people actually paint the eyes on 35th and lower scales i sure dont. and if so how

I paint them flesh color, same as the face, and put a little black dot in the middle for the pupil. If you paint them white, they look like a deer in the headlights.

[dto:] I use off white. Because I use acrylic paint on my figures, I use enamel off white for the the eye then I paint the pupils using black acrylic paint. That way it will not ruin the previous painting jobs. Learned this tip from a fellow Indy earlier and it worked great.

At 35th scale I can get reasonable eye definition. But below 35th scale, it is likely more than the person requires.

Even so it depends on the figure, because lousy molds won’t give you much to work with.

I paint the white, then the pupil a black spec, then I flesh tone slice off the top and bottom half to avoid bug eyed look.
