The Weekend Madness GB.

Ahhhh, the roster grows! Good to see you all again! Still feel bad about missing last year. But seeing that my work is still effected by Covid, I should have lots of time to participate this year. I intend to set a record number of builds for myself this time, spread among many subjects. First up will be an AMT Yenko Camaro.

Come one, come all. We get more participants every year and there is always room for YOU! You will be amazed at what can be accomplished in just 48 hours. Take a look at the past years threads for some inspiration. Challenge yourself and give it a shot. Our fearless leader Lewbud has yet again cast the gauntlet and offers the chance to achieve greatness. I can’t overstate how much fun this build is. Hope you join us!

Got you on the list Ernest. I look forward to your build.

Thanks for the kind words Caveman.

Bumpity Bump.

One month to go…get your benches ready!

OK, I’m in - probably with the Airfix 1/72 Hawk T1. 48 hours? One weekend? I must be bonkers [:D]

Thanks for the bump Caveman!

Hutch,

Welcome aboard! You can do it. I got faith brother!

Lew,

Course I am in! Don’t know what or scale, but I am in!

Piers

Got you on the list Piers. Welcome aboard!

Mine will be a Hasegawa F8-E gull gray over white,

It’s about 25% done.

G,

Sorry while I look forward to the build, it’s started which is against the rules.

I’m not sure what kit I am doing yet but count me in!!

Charles,

You have been added. Welcome to the madness!

OK Buddy, the wife picked this one. I’ll figure a 48 hour period I can work on it.

Happy wife, happy life!

I’ll try it again. Don’t know what yet, need to look at the stash.

Welcome aboard Steve! I’ve got you on the list. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I started a new job Tuesday after having not worked in almost eight months.

A new job is great news!

New job?

That is great lewbud!

Super to have some good news at this time.

Caveman, just saw your excuse reason for missing last year…

… I suppose that is fair enough, hope you have bounced back okay

Revved up and ready to start! Got a few kits picked out already.

Ill Give it a go. Probably a 1/72 scale academy P-51 or F6F. My first 48 hour attempt, so Im going with something Simple.
