wow, mike i thought you have one

1337,

I have a Jun-Air single 1/2 hp motor unit, not a three 1/2 hp unit like the one on Ebay. [;)]
Those things sell for around $2,000 I believe.

And when I looked a couple of hours ago the high bid was at $199!

Scott,

The bids are almost always low until near the end when the “snipers” try and snatch it for cheaper.
I’ll bet shipping will be hefty on this compressor as it is heavy.

That reminds me, you guys looking for a good silent compressor may want to watch this one and hopefull someone will get it cheap.

I’ve got a friend at work who timed exactly how long it took to process a bid. He would type in his bid, $1 over the high bid, and information, then sit there with his finger poised over [enter]. At something 21 seconds before the bidding ended, he’d hit [enter]. I saw him get a couple like that [:)]

It said in the description that it was 140 pounds, but that didn’t include the crate.

The first one could be great to an airbrush build group ( build whatever you want as long as it is airbrushed) but modelers should live close from the others as you can lose a little pressure with a 300 km airhose. The second one : what are you waiting to check such bargain; a little advise from an " ebay sniper" : search what you might be interested in, when found, put it into " items to follow" and DON’T bid until last minute; this last thing depends of your connection. I personally write my bid at 40 to 30 seconds to the end and I press Enter ( must be around 20 seconds ) and I got a number of good hits but to do this I have a 2048 K connection and this is not the less important part of the process. And the most important is : if you see a battle on an object several days before the end, specially with low rated bidders ( in terms of bid, not of feedback) get away from this mess as it has chances to finish at an higher price than new and that is not what you want, is it ?

P.S. 1$ over the higher bid seems short as you never know how many snipers are here. And your bid is more effective is it is not “round” : 1.68 is better than 1 (or 1.65 or 1.81 or…)

Did one of you people win this Ebay auction that I posted?

Did you see the one for sale on the Badger website?? It’s a Thayer & Chandler Air Star V Rebuilt for $99.00.

Brian,

I have seen those and they are a good price.
They do not have an airtank though as far as I know.
I have the Badger Million-Air that I recently received and like it a lot.
It is a little expensive though.
