The Twins

Here are two P-51’s in T/A livery. One is the Revell 1/32, the other is Testor’s 1/48th. the pics aren’t too great, but I have a new camera and hopefully, it’ll get better.

Thanks for the pics. Love those red tails.

They look good. Is it the camera angle or is the canopy on the closest one fogged? Keep theose builds coming. What is the background that you are using? I like it.

Nice builds. Thanks for sharing.

Regards, Rick

The canopy is clouded and I’m tryin’ real hard not to let that happen again.
I used particle board and grey proch paint and drew lineswith markers to make the base. The back walls are patio steps in the same paint.
Again, this was taken with a ‘throw away’ camera; now I have a Cano A400. Now if I could only find a way to move my other pics into PB I could sent some of the others I’ve done.
Thanks for the compliments; anything that looks good, I got from FSM and he Forum.[bow][bow]

Great builds of an awesome subject… looks great on that base.

Two very nice builds. Picture looks plenty fine to me.

A great set of wins you have…

Very nice builds, and a leally cool pic. I´ve seen on behind-the-scenes on DVD extra features that they use that trick a lot in movies. great job!!

What did you use for the NMF?

They look great! Thanks for sharing!

Excellent builds. Congratulations.

The NMF was Testors silver. After the paint dried I used an old t-shirt to buff out inside the panel lines. This brought out more of an aluminum look. Then used Testors Glosscoat before decaling and finished with Testors Dullcoat. This techniques also works with Tamiya aluminum, but needs more careful attention to the rubbing because of the consistency of the paint.[2c]
