This is my Starsky & Hutch Ford Torino aka The Striped Tomato as it was referred to by Hutch in an episode of Starsky & Hutch. It is painted with Tamiya TS-49 Bright Red with a Tamiya TS-29 Semi Gloss Black interior with embossing powder for carpet and a scratch-built radio antenna, wired engine, wheels from my parts box because I liked the offset better than the kit wheels.

Awesome job ! Did it come with the maggie mount light? Cool car.
That’s sharp! How difficult was the stripe?
Thank you guys!
Yes, the light came with the kit and it is a good representation of a Federal Signal Fireball.
The three piece stripe was somewhat of a bear to put on. There are still a couple of small wrinkles that I am trying to get out.

Did you have to use wider tires for your offset wheels and also did you still use the metal pins to mount them with? Thanks
I used the kit tires with the wider offset wheels. I also used the wheel pins to locate the wheels and tires on the suspension, but I glued the wheels on so the car wouldn’t move around on me.
