I’ve this small feature running on my site for a while now. Basically, it’s a Google map (provided by Frappr) which fellow modelers are encouraged to place a marker on it to show others where in the world they are.

The main aim of this is to give other modelers a rough idea where people live, to see how many fellow modelers are neighbours and as both a Guest Book for my site and a place to leave links to your own sites and forums.

Please feel free to go to http://ghostofzeon.com/etc/map.html and click the add yourself button. There is a quick sign up involved through Frappr, but it is quick and safe, then upload a photo and insert some details and wha-la, you’ll be on the map!

Quite a number of people have looked at the map but very few have added a marker!

Come on everyone, show us where you are in the world and see if there are any other fellow modelers in your area.

I can’t get the pin to move to the tiny state of CT

Click on your pin and click the ‘move this pin’ link then type in where you want the pin to be. Be aware that you need to be logged into the map to do this.
