I saw these guys live once at the Garden. Had to tailgate three day for tickets. Then, just before they went on, the lead singer almost bailed 'cause no one could get him a bowl of blue M&M’s. Man, when did it stop being about the music?
Whatever, they’re such sell-outs now. Lately, I’ve been all about this new German deathmetal group called Revelogramstein. Their new album Slide-Injection is sooo hardcore.

Some time ago, I posted a thread asking people to come up with modeling-related parodies of popular song titles (I think it’s in the “Odds and Ends” file if I’m not mistaken). If the Sprues Brothers ever record a reunion tape, perhaps they can write actual songs to my titles.[;)]

Heard about that, but I missed the show. However, I did catch these guys at Scalefest back in '92. The lineup was New Tool, NMF, Francois and the VPs, Eduard and the Slovakian Brass (w/special guest Herb Alpert) KMFMB, Shep and the Test Shots and, of course, The Sprues Brothers…
Have you heard their indy EP called Ausgedehnter Plastik? Good stuff…
None of these are available on reel-to-reel, but I think I have one of their really early albums on reel… I’ll have to dig through my old time radio stuff and see…
Unfortunately the band’s lead man, Spruester, went to that big model show in the sky last year, so I doubt there will be any more records from these fellas.
As soon as I get my copy back from a guy in my model club I’ll set you up. But ‘PE Shuffle’ doesn’t actually end, it just goes right into ‘Carpet Monster’…
You’ll probably have better luck at garage sales or landfills…
