And the results are:

I won a SIlver Medal for my Sherm ( Possibles were 1st, 2nd, 3rd for Club members… Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honorable Mention for non-club members) I am not a member so Best I could have gotten was Gold. All-in-all, not too shabby for my 1st entry.

Just some awesome builds. I had a chance to get some pointers and such. I also scored big on the raffle, winning 1/35 Academy M3 Stuart “Honey”, 1/35 Academy M151A1 Shmira Jeep, 1/72 Academy Leopard 2 A5, 1/35 Italeri DUK W Amphibious Truck and DML 1/144 [(-D] F14 D Tomcat. Tickets were 50 cents and I bought $10.00 worth.

I wound up buying DML Dragon Panther Ausf F, Tamiya M16 US Multi Gun Halftrack, Academy British Achilles Tank Destroyer, 2 Cavalier Zims (Sorry Moses) and Eduard German express masks: Numbers, Letters and Panzer unit markings.

Here are some pics from the show, I will post more on my website (I took 92 of them)

This one was awesome. A 1/16 scratchbuilt Sherm. Only the accessories were from a box! (guess who I thought of?)

It won 2nd place. The really huge 4 building Dio won 1st place.

PS…The “Look what we found” Dio is the one with the Sherman and the soldiers holding the liquor bottles.

BTW, those liquor bottles – at first glance I thought they were those tiny bottle of Tobasco sauce which came in MRE’s. [;)]
