as you can see, i’m using the original kit as a rough guide. the cockpit is filled in with stick and just ever so slightly more detail for the seat:

and some inside framework and instruments:

since the fit of the bay doors was horrendous, i filled it in with melted styrene and sanded them over. should scribe the panel lines later:

Looks cool so far!Which kit of the GO-229 did you use?I recently built a 1/72 scale PM models GO-229 that came out nice,although the kit is very basic.My double-action airbrush made it easy to paint the grau-violet and green mottle!

yes, it’s the PM kit. and here’s more parts. scratch building the tips of the engines. they’re not actually made to look like the real thing, in case you haven’t realized. i’m just screwing around with the details. the whole thing will be riveted and have as many guns on it as i can fit.
