The ranking system

I have been on these forums since this summer and I still dont know exactly how the ranking goes. For example how you earn the different ranks and what the starts under your name means. I have been wonderin that for a long time and decided it was time to find out. Thanks

The ranking system is dependent on the number of posts you make.

0-19 Snap-together
20-99 Box Stock
100-499 Aftermarket
500-999 Multi-media
1000-1999 Kit-bashed
2000 + Scratch-built (Postmaster General?)

So if you want to have a higher rank you need to participate in the forum discussions more often.

Good luck.

Thanks but how about the stars?

Snap together is no stars
Box Stock is one star
Aftermarket is two stars (which I achieved recently[^])
Multimedia is three stars
Kit bashed is four stars
Scratchbuilt is five stars (Way to go shermanfreak[:D][:D][:D] are you also webfreak?[alien][bow])

They should have something like

4000+ = ModelMaster
8000+ = ModelDiety

8000???

shermie will be there next month!!! LOL

keep posting and you will see it growing…lol

Close…

0-9 Snap-together
10-99 Box Stock

I lowered the req. for the first star some time ago. I probably forgot to edit the post with the numbers. [:I]

Nonetheless, thanks for the assist everyone. [:)]

HEY,
I agree with Hou_ge2000 when he says we should have those really high rankings. I few of us are almost there and it would be a great way to show a persons dedication to this site and their experience above the rest of us aftermarket folks.

Testors already copyrighted Model Master[:(!]. How 'bout
4,000-Model Diety
8,000-Bow to me weaklings![(-D]

4000-Museum Quality
8000-Model Mage

How about:
8000 = WAY too much free time[(-D]

LOL

Great stuff guys. Thanks.

I was wondering about the ranking also…thanks for the answers!

[#ditto]

4000=less modeling
8000= no modeling

how true, how true.

Not necessarily … done a pile of posting and done a pile of models in the last year. Far more models then I did the previous year when I didn’t post at all.

I quite agree. I joined FSM sometime in July of last year (7 months) ago. Within that period of time I was able to post roughly about 1700 posts and built 6 models and four dios (plus rebuilding/repainting 5 models). So, it is not really inversely propotional.[;)]
