Hey guys, this might sounds like a stupid post, but I found a great mobile workshop today. I work at a pizza joint as my second job, and I took my current model to work with me today, but didnt know where to work on it so as not to make a mess and be in the way during the dead time. So I grabbed a pizza box and set it up as a mobile workstationa nd it worked really well.
Dominoes: Hello, this is Dominoes would you like to try our new cheese sticks tonight?
Me: Uh, no. I would like to order a pizza box.
Dominoes: Okay sir, what would you like on your pizza?
Me: I don’t want anything on it cause I don’t want a pizza. I want a pizza BOX.

Me: Oh, and can you deliver that?
Dominoes: So, you just want a pizza BOX and no pizza?
Me: Yeah, and make it a large. I’ve got a lot of painting to do.
HAHA! I guess Im a little obsessed for painting a model at work anyway…
My paint job is progressing slowly, although I got the engine together finally, after I spent about four hours looking for the manifold I thought I hadnt painted, then found in the bag I had put the painted pieces for my engine in… [:p]
Twice a month I have to stay overnight where I work and quite often will bring a model to work on. I’ve found a roll of wax paper makes an excelent portable work area.
ROFL…I think Dominos would have hung up! LMAO I know the one down here would have I had a friend in HS that used to work for them and man you wouldnt believe some of the calls they got. I know I didnt! LOL
I like to use the little three legged do-dad they put in the center of the box for a paint stand. Flat round side with double sided tape for small parts and legs up for larger parts.
I am a police officer and I am currently stuck at a desk on midnight shift . I have about six models and and two plastic tool boxes full of model paint and model tools. I am soooo tempted to go out there and bring one in.LOL[}:)]
