Here my new Mark V . Materials : cardboard , resin parts (own casts) plastic plates . Several small mistakes are - the lack of good records , but I think that and it yes quite pleasant
I love the subject, and you’ve done outstanding work recreating it.
I’m currently watching the Four Volume World War I documentary, which has some great film clips of the Mark “X” tanks (not sure which version they are). Where did you get the plans to build this from scratch? I’m challenged by OOTB builds, but one day …!
Where are the words when I need them! This is absolutely beautiful and VERY professional looking. You have something here to be proud of. On a scale of 1 to 10 rounds… 11 rounds Steve
T Man - Looks like I have a different set. It’s the 4DVD set based on a book by Hew Strachan and narrated by Jonathon Lewis, produced by Channel 4 (British). I’ve only made it through 2 DVDs so far, I can’t wait to finish it so I can find out who wins [:)]. Actually I’ve time-shared between the DVD and the book “The Guns of August” by Barbara Tuchman. Just finished the book and will resume viewing the DVDs. I also took a slight detour and started watching the Patton DVD. I’m probably the only one in this forum that has never seen that movie. I guess I was never interested until I started this model armor stuff recently.
