My wife was looking at this site and decided she wants to try to follow the article about the Wright Flyer as her first excursion into modeling.[:O] I was absolutly speechless. She asked that I do one with her but she wants me to do a Concorde to go with her Flyer. The jury is out as to wether she’ll let me post pics when she’s done but I’ll keep trying.[;)]

It is great when that happens. Just beware, none of your kits are just yours anymore, you’ll have to spend more, and you might have to get another set of tools. Of coarse it is great to have her building next to you and sharing an interest which in it’s own way is priceless. Tell her to post the pics, we’ll be easy the first time.
Cool deal…my wife has been asking me a lot of questions lately about different modeling stuff…dont know if this is an actual interest…or her way of letting me think shes interested LOL

My wife has also mentionned she wants to cross over to the dark side.
Guess she was getting worried about my addiction.The best part is she has perfect vision so I am tempted to promote her in cahrge of all sub-assemblies i.e. cockpits, PE sets,Masking ,Rigging.[:D]

Just joking, I am actually looking forward to sharing this with my partner of nearly 25 years.
I’m not sure I’d like my wife to take up modeling for the following reasons:
When she did ceramics her airbrushings were great.
She has the patiance of a saint. Thirty years of being my wife clearly shows just how much she has.
I don’t share my tools or toys well. I have had that comment on every reportcard since kindergarden.
I have enough trouble keeping track of my stuff as it is. I’m the only guy I know who can sit in the middle of the kitchen floor with a toaster and a screwdriver to fix it and have to get up and get another driver because he lost the last one.
She has a bigger craft table then I do and I’m waiting for her to clear it so I have room to build my Snowberry.
