Well two of my aircraft models are in the repair hanger because my cat was trying to open my drawers with my spare parts in them wanting to play. well she nocked over the spare part containers and my models, with them crashing to the floor , first hitting my desk which thats what busted them.[V]
Read a good book once. Its title was “101 Things To Do With A Dead Cat.”
Just kidding, I have 4 of my own and 1visiting (kid back home for awhile). I did have one once that ate a few models, it ran off, I didn’t look very hard for it.
LOL…I have 2 that I wish would run off.
HEY,
Try having a dog like that. Black lab that thinks she is a cat. Just picture it.

That’s funn! I have 3 cats and so far they have behaved themselves and have left my kit alone. Haven’t seen them go near my done builds either.
A cat did knock over a wooden model (Billings kit) about 20 years ago and its still waiting to be repaired but apart from that no problems with our dogs or cats.
I thought that cats taste like chickens.Digger
CAT! The OTHER white meat!!! [dinner]

Oh nooooooooooo! [:O] ROFLMAO I have 2 cats at home. I was awakend late at night (that seems to be when they were the most active) to the sounds of them spinning the props on my airplane models. In the morning I found that they had EATEN the blades off of the props. My poor 1/48 aircrews were caught completely off gaurd with no way to defend themselves. It was almost like pearl harbor meets godzilla. OHHHH the inhumanity. It was a darn good thing I didnt have any sleep away in the house that morning. HERE KITTY KITTY KITTY, dady’s got something special for you, you little @#!$%&*@.
I’ve been there and feel your pain. I have two cats; one’s very calm and laid back and has never damaged anything. But the other one GRRRRRRRRR. . …
knows just how to push my buttons (and my models!) and has already used up two of her nine lives.
i bearly got any sleep last night because i had to keep getting up to get my cat off my desk, and I knew she was on there cause the sound of moving models kept waking me up.
I had a cat that sent the Cutty Sark down a flight of stairs, still have the Cutty Sark somewhere.
Have you ever seen one glue itself to a desk? I have and I did have pics, but the cat ate them.

What is it with my cat and my wildcat. first it had just a few pieces broken from before now the entire plane is destroyed. the wings are off , the engine is out along with the cowl ring my canopy is broke in two. AHAHAHAHAHAH
I did have all my planes hanging from my ceiling but i took them down cause i would wreck them everytime i would get dressed. I would hit them as i put my shirt on and pieces would just go flying. So i decided to put them on my desk and now the cat is destroying them.
I have no cats in the house but I can already imagine the horrors.
I watched “Garfield the Movie”…last night.
LOL.
sounds as though your cat is not a fan of modeling. hmmm. what to do with the cat…
joe
But do you still have the cat?
No cats just kids[:D]
‘Daddy, plane go ZOOM,ZOOM…CRASH!!!’
Karl
I got no cats, one dog that couldn’t get NE where near my models, and my workshops in the basement, behind a closing door. besides the dog ain’t allowed to go down to the basement, couldn’t get down the slippery steps NEways
I have one, no! Not a pretty picture. Like having a 75 lb lap cat.[|(] Its funny to watch him trying to climb trees and sit on the window sill. It’s not funny when he wants to play chase the Lab with a $25 chunk of resin that was once a Black Box cockpit.
