Hi everyone.
Thought I would post some pics of my 1/72 dio. The Jagdtigers are Dragon’s excellent kits that have great detail for this size. I handpainted them for something different.
This depicts 3/sPzJgAbt 653 moving through Germany in 1945.
As usual, 90% happy with it but learnt a lot for my next one. Hope you like.

The fence is made from bass and balsa wood.
The grass, scrub and trees are from Woodland Scenics.
I used real dirt underneath all that.
I like it!
One quibble: When AFVs drive around, particularly when not in a combat situation, they generally have at least the commander out of his hatch.

Larry I agree. The kits did not have the option of an open hatch and I didn’t modify them as I decided late to use them in a dio. By then they were painted etc.

but few improvements can be made for next diorama:
first, the road is too straight. you should put it a bit more diagonal to break the symmetry. also, break the tree line.
second, there are too many open spaces. a diorama is better off without them most of the times - unless there is a specific role for them.
I would have chosen a narrower base, and put the road diagonal to it.
the alst thing I would add are soldiers - to give sense of scale and liven it up a bit.
as it is, it is a very ncie diorama, and to make it even nicer I would have added some figures marching or sitting and looking at the tank while resting.

This came about because I changed the original idea, big mistake.
The 2 Jagdtigers were to be side by side near the trees with infantry erecting camo netting, digging trenches etc. There was no road at all originally!
from here, the tanks look a bit glossy…
anyway, great dio!
