The In My Stash GB

Well I am sure most of you if not all of you have a nice stash of kits going just as I do . And we all look at them and say one day I will get to that and get it done. And they still sit there on the shelf. So here is my idea.

  1. Any scale

  2. Any Genre

  3. Must be from what you have at home

  4. Diorama or Stand alone project

  5. Any extras you want to put into your build

  6. Have fun fun fun

The start date would be January 1, 2007 just incase you get a model for the holiday season. End date would be December 31, 2007. Plenty of time if you have a big build ahead of you. Not sure what i want to do from my stash yet but still have plenty of time to decide. If anyone is intresetd let me know and we will start a list of participants. and if we get the build going we can decide on what type of badge we want. see you all soon .

And the rules are as follows :

we will make this as simple as possible all lists must be posted by Jan 1, 2007 which is a monday

from jan 2, 2007 till jan 5, 2007 we will have enough time to look over all the lists and decide what each of us will vote on.

the voting will be from 12:00 am jan 6, 2007 and will close at 12:00 pm jan 7, 2007.

the votes will be tallied after that and who is building what will be posted either that same night or monday jan 8, 2007.

everyone will vote on each persons stash so no one for one voting or choosing.

I am down wit dis one. Count me in.

cool pain just give me heads up when you decide what to do

Sign me up for this one also. You have great ideas dude

hey mist ty glad to see you are in. i just get bored and think things up that will help me get all these darn models built lol

We can always post pics of our stashes and let the group decide. I know i’ll have a fit trying to [banghead]

thats not a bad idea my stash isnt that big but enough to keep me occupied. i am leaning towards either my titanic which has been sitting around for about 7 years or my uss enterprise aircraft carrier which has been around for about 2 or 3 years  i figured too usually people stay in there own genre if we have a build of all different types in one more peoplr will get to know each other and may be intrested in doing something a little different

Yeah. My stash really isn’t that big either but i would really have a hard time picking one for this build. My vote would be to let another person in the build pick it

cool with me we will see how many people join up then take a vote and see what we want to do

That sounds like I cool idea. I have many aircraft kits, but I also have several car kits that I could do. Maybe I will do a 1964 Impala wit hydraulics. I used to build them many years ago and compete at lowrider shows. I had this killer 85 chevy van that I would dance the pants off, that won several awards. It had a mean killer front hop - could get about two inches off the ground. Man that brings back memories…

TO BE CONTINUED…fade to black.

Hi,

count me in. I’m not totally sure what I’ll build yet but most of my stash is either 1/48 Japanese WW2 aircraft or 1/72 helicopters, with a few other things in there for good measure.

Now I think about it, maybe I’ll do one of each. Put me down for the Eduard 1/48 Ki-115 Tsurugi and a Revell 1/72 Chinook. My current projcts should be almost done by then.

Paul

thanks for joining paul glad to have you aboard .

I would like to join this build. This would be my first GB, so if i seem a little clueless, have patience. [:)]

Just let me know what I need to do. By the way… I think having the group pick the model is a great idea.

welcome to the build . if you have any question you can ask any of us we will be glad to help. i think i am leaning towards having others pic for us we shall see.

just an idea for the badge

would have to resize but if anyone is good at making badges feel free to do so please

count me in on this one as well,i need to narrow the stash down anyway…i’ll wait to see how it’s going to work, before deciding which kit

Cool! Count me in. Still have to decide which kit to build.

Awesome badge idea

thanks for joining guys . what do you think about taking pics and posting and we pick whatyou build out of your stash o’ kits ?

I’m fine with that. If not a picture then perhaps a list will do? My stash is not all in one place and would take a few photos to cover it all. (Like me, it has put on a bit of weight recently [:I])

Paul

that wouldnt be a problem with me . the only thing i say is if you have your heart set on something you really have been wanting to do then go for it  as long as you have it already
