The Hornet’s NestThere’s a new GB in town, ! It starts October 1st, hopefully that will give anyone interested time to finish up other projects. If you fancy building a Hornet, please stop on by!

HMMMMM! Sounds interesting. I am hosting the Viper GB starting the same time, I have several Hornets in the stash. Will get back to you. The Viper GB is my fist host job so I don’t want to short change it, but would love to break out one those F-18’s.

How ironic! I was at the hobby store yesterday (8/15/10) and found a new 1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18C for $48. I couldn’t pass that up.

That was going to be my next build after this 1/48 Hasegawa F-14A I’m working on. I also have a 1/48 Tamiya F-16C that I might have to bust out, too.

Travis- I saw your Viper GB, and wanted to join up- but the two F-16’s I have currently on the bench are nearing completion. The first one is halfway through painting, and the other is ready for paint. I’d love to join if they’re not too far into the build. Let me know!

I am guessing you do not mean the classic 1970s “AMC Hornet” ?

I might join. Let me finish the F-14 before I commit to anything. I may want to take a break for a little while.

DayWalker: No problem. I would love to see those birds when they are finished. You are more than welcome to post the completed kits on the Viper GB when you are done. It might even inspire some of the participants.

I will let you know from my end about the hornet.

I have a Revell 18E that I may jump in with later on. Can’t make any promises right now. Oct 1 kicks of archery deer season, most spare time goes to the woods!!!

Ok, put me down for an F-18A in Blue Angel markings. This will be the Hasegawa Kit. I am looking at a later start date. So maybe December/Jan… I hope that is OK!

I must consider this since I have a few sitting calling my name, and there is lots of time! lord knows I need it!

I might want to get in on this. I’m part of a couple of other GB’s but it really depends on when this one will end. I have a 1/48 Revell F/A-18E in my stash. My problem is that i’m moving at the begining of October and that’ll kinda slow things down.
