The Bad - The weather is pretty miserable, so bring recently-containerised hobby stuff to prove its accessibility and portability :grin:

The Ugly - Leave anything slightly resembling a paintbrush or pipette at home :roll_eyes:

You say ugly, I say opportunity. There has to be a hobby store nearby where you can get paint brushes and pipettes…

I do something similar. Every Summer we rent a cabin “up North” for a week and I’ll pack up four or five “Easy to assemble” kits, usually Tamiya armor from the 70’s or 80’s, and my traveling tool kit. No doubt I always forget at least one important tool or supply.

Yeah the assembly phase is always easier to travel with, unfortunately I already have three kits already built and in that awkward space between just-primed and basecoats done. That means either starting a fourth kit, or subjecting myself to a wide variety of next steps from airbrushing to detail brushing to weathering to vignette construction…
