Here’s my first model since I last built one over 50 years ago. It isn’t “Finescale” yet, but I’ll get there. [8D] It’s an old 1:72 scale Heller Humbrol T-33.
She even looks fast, kbuzz! I like the t-33 and you’ve replicated this one nicely. You must be one of those who naturally polished your skills over te 50 year hiatus.
Welcome back to the hobby! I hope to see more of your work on here.
Nice work on the old girl. Looks real good.
Regards, Rick
Hey, I like it. 50 years? Wow, that’s a long time, welcome back to the hobby.
Looking good, Kbuzz !!![^]
Welcome back to the hobby and nice job on the T-33! [tup][tup]
Looks good![tup] Welcome back to the hobby.
Excellent build. Nice smooth finish. I like the colorful wing tanks helps break up the NMF a bit. Keep em coming. Welcome to FSM Forums. What NMF paint did you use?
Thank you
Neil
Thanks for the encouragement, guys! Yup, I’m an old guy (only in years, though, not in spirit).
Neil, the paint is all MM acrylics and hand-brushed. Don’t have my airbrush set up yet.
Ken
You brush painted MM acrylics for that beautiful NMF? I have tried every trick in the book, bought every piece of equipment recommended, and spent countless hours and dollars, and mine NEVER looked that good! [banghead] Way to go! You must be one of those guys who are a natural at this.
Welcome back to the hobby! I look forward to seeing more pics of your work in the future. [#welcome]
Looks real good from here. You’re never too old - just ask my 91 year-old grandfather. He’s been modeling since the '30’s.
Looks good regardless of how long the break inthe hobby was. Welcome back.
