The Dornier has its colors

Hey guys, got an update for you! So exciting, I know![:)] I’ve got the splinter camouflage finished. However, I’ve learned that you should really research the subject being built first… I used the wrong light blue on the bottom and I used an RLM 82/83 camo scheme on top… not exactly correct. Of course I learned this AFTER I had already layed down the RLM 83 light coat and done half of the masking. Tell me what you all think!

I like it she looks good. Dont fel bad i used the wrong RLM light blue on my Stuka but i wasnt gona change it as long your happy with it.

Yeah next time I’ll just have to do better research next time… Tamiya doesn’t help when it comes to RLM stuff

Tamiya dosent help with any color but there own[:)]

Looks great. Bet she’ll look good at the end. That was a weird bird!

send us some final pics…

Nice work! I like these camo schemes, this will be a interesting build to follow. Keep us posted, Darren.

The color isn’t as bad as you think, RadMax. The paint looks like it went on nice and smooth, and you did a nice job on the splinter camo. I’m sure the finished Pfeil will be a beauty

Yeah the paint did go on pretty nice… I used too much though, not much preshading on the top came thru[:(]. There’s a couple rough spots but I think Future will fix that. I’ve got that on tomorrow’s agenda. Thanks for the comments, guys!

I agree she defently looks wonderful. I’ve made a couple of really late war aircraft like that and just geve them some hypothitical “what if” markings. Noone could say that yoru paint colors are wrong that way [:)]
