The best way to get Tamiya acrylic paint off canopy

Hello everyone

I am redoing a F/A 18E and I want to get the Tamiya acrylic paint off my canopy (clear).

I tried placing the canopy in windex but doesn’t seem to be taking much off. I left the canopy

in the windex all night. Can anyone suggest a better method to accomplish this.

Try 91% isopropyl alcohol… works great safe on clear plastic

You might cut yourself a chisel out of a piece of clear sprue and help the windex with a little bit of scraping…

Or a wooden toothpick or a childeren’s toothbrush… BUT FIRST you should try alcohol!!!

Soak overnight in Aztek Concentrated Airbrush Cleaner (ethylene glycol monobutyl ether). The paint will turn into a soft skin you can rub off with your fingers.
