They’ve been on top for a few weeks I think!! They planned the take over from the very first, as they “planted” topics in their group to get more replies!!!

Right garydmason! The armor forum has more posting than us now. Tanks have threads you know ( he he he ). But if we aircraft guys would really want to do something we can always stop them on their tracks, like we can do some carpet bombing. We are ahead by a thousand on topics so if we’ll just post a reply on each of these topics we easily overhaul their lead of only about 700. If you’re on just give the signal and we’ll have a go at it. I’m with you. Bombs away!

Pesonally I am not particular about number of posts. And aircraft, armor, etc, to me is one family in this forum and no offense meant to our armor modeler colleagues. But just for fun I’m game.

is their group builds.
there is no way the wingy thingies will ever catch up as long as they have even one group build going, let alone 3 or 4, as they get 1000+ posts for these things without even trying…

So what? What does blabbing have to do with building? Quantity or size have nothing to do with quality, unless all you want to do is compare numbers. It is an all-too-common misconception that “bigger” equals “better.” “More” is not preferrable to “less.” We have trimmed the artificial padding from our forum. I hope that no one here in insecure enough to let this bother them.
They’re armor guys, of course they have more posts. Most of their posts are just grunts typed out. I’ve been around armor types, they identify aircraft by pointing towards the sky and grunt “ahpane, ahpane”. [;)]
This is not good. Can’t have the tread-heads getting above themselves!!! [soapbox][(-D][banghead]
I post in both (as well as in a buncha the other forums here, too!), so it matters not to me…happy wherever I go!
But for the folks concerned (seriously or not) about the “quality” of the posting, “blabbing,” etc., please consider this:
Posts=communication.
The more posts, the more communication.
And we are communicating about modeling.
And I think we’d all agree that ain’t a bad thing.
Other than that, the numbers alone don’t make no nevermind nohow!
