The 65th Infantry Regiment, 'The Borinqueneers'- Rearguard to the 1st Marine Division at Hungnam

Well, I got some work done on my base and added a Korean sign to the structure. Believe there will be more snow added to the base. Enjoy.

Sometimes in miniature modelling, stuff doesn’t always come out the way you want it. Case in point, the “sand” bags on my .50cal machine gun emplacement. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: I will redo it again. Wish me luck.:crossed_fingers:t3:I was happy with the snow that I added to the roof structure and door. I’ll see if I can add some icicles to it.

Hello everyone. Well, NOW I like the sandbag emplacements. They look more natural. These are WIP pics so there is still some tweaking to be done along with 5 figures that need to be inserted into the scene. I put in the fire drum with some wooden boards as fuel and I hope to be done soon. Enjoy, and as always, all comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

OK, well I can honestly say this diorama is DONE. Everything is to my liking although the modeler in me still wants to tinker and tweak. But sometimes you just have to say, “leave it alone, it’s fine.” Enjoy the photos and as always, all comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Every element of this diorama is beautifully executed! The paint work is exquisite. I’m freezing and miserable just looking at it! Well done!

My uncle was in Korea in '52-'53 and he said it was in the winter. I went there when I was stationed in the Far East and although it was hot in the summer, their water was extremely cold. That was due to the fact that they had Arctic current.

That looks appropriately freezing cold. Really well done!
