I think I read in your Hetzer article (the first part) about putting individual links together, and then “painting” them with liquid cement so then can more easily go around curves (after sitting for a little while to let the plastic soften).
So, I tried it with my 1/72 scale Sherman build, and it worked perfectly. My build has been in hiatus for a few weeks, partially because I was pretty busy, but also because the tracks were driving me nuts.
I finished one side using super glue to put the links together one at a time. It was time-consuming and didn’t work as well as I would like. The liquid cement method works a lot better.
I’ll be updating my build thread in a day or so with the results!
