THANK YOU & FAREWELL

This is very sad…

I’m sorry for your loss, Hunter. We’ve lost one of ours, too…

Hunter and family

My most heartfelt condolences to you and your family. This is one of the hardest things that we as sons and daughters have to deal with when our parents pass. I dealt with my dad being in a coma for 9 months till his passing. Then I went thru the same thing with my mom some years later so I know about loosing loved ones. Believe me, Jeff is in a better place, free of any pain and disconfort.

Again Hunter, my deepest condolences go out to you and your family. RIP Jeff.

Gentlemen,

This is Jeff’s wife and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your heartfelt messages and condolences to our family. My kids and I were taken back by the kindness and compassion expressed by all of you. May God’s grace and love be with all of you.

Sincerely,

Mrs. ModelMan68

I’m sorry to hear this, I don’t think I ever talked to him here, only read a few of his posts. His contributions to this online community will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers, God bless him and your family.

My condolences to your family, but know and be comforted by the knowlege he is in God’s loving arms. And will be getting perfect builds and paint jobs/weathering results.

wish for only the best for your family in these times of sorrow.

Very sorry for your loss. Your dad sounded like a class act, and I’m sure I speak for many when I say that his post about his illness made all of us reflect and ponder our own mortality. Maybe some good will be done by it, some bridges mended, some people forgiven or re-embraced. We all mourn the passing of one of our friends here.

Hunter,

So sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. My condolences to you and your family in this time of sadness. His story touched people around the world. He was a brave man. Have solace knowing that he is at peace, and I’m sure he is smiling down on you proudly. I only hope I can be as strong as him when my time comes. Thank you.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. I never talked with Jeff, but I greatly admire his courage in opening up to everyone here. I hope you all find some peace and comfort in the days ahead.

I found this and the initial thread describing Jeff’s condition much too late to speak of the courage to post such a private situation. I read his description and felt a great deal of sadness as well as feeling a bit of admiration. If the roles were reversed I am not sure I could do the same. I would most likely just disappear. I then read today of the passing and feel an overwhelming sense of sadness. I was too late to interact with Jeff.

Hunter, please go forward with the knowledge that although the words do nothing to help ease the pain of your loss, we all wish you and your family peace through this most difficult time. Know that the pain you feel, although it will never go away, it will after time fade.

As for myself, I wish you and your family blessings and peace.

Joe

Hunter, and family, I am so sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. While we did not interact much in the Forum, he seemed a man of grace and courage. Please know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. Jeff, may the angels come out to meet you and escort you to heaven and may God grant you eternal rest and peace. Hunter and family, may God grant you comfort and peace knowing you will see each other again when our time here is through.

John

Very good of you, Aaron, you represent FSM so well.

Best regards

Patrick

Hunter,

My deepest condolences to you and your family. My presence here has been sporadic and while I didn’t interact with your dad, I’m heartened that he found these forums to be a source of joy. I know I have.

May your family find peace and comfort in one another.

Dave

Hunter,

I can only repeat what many others have already said. Please accept my most sincere condolences to you and your family during this most difficult time. Although there is usually some advance warning, you can never fully prepare yourself for the loss of a parent or loved one. Take solace in the fact that you have the support, if not physical at least moral and spiritual, from the many friends and acquaintances your dad had on this forum. It has been 28 years since my dad passed and I still miss him. As Joe said, the pain will never completely go away but it will lessen with time.

With deepest sympathies,

Mike

Jeff, you have been an inspiration to so many of us who may have to deal with the problems you have faced. The battle may be over, but you have won it by showing how strong and confident a person can be when faced with such odds and passing that confidence onto others. You will not be forgotten here my friend.

You are now really in the land of the Big Sky, and we all someday look forward to joining you in the great group build and seeing what you will have on the bench.

All our love and prayers are with your wife and family.

Scott
