Rust Oleum Chrome paint. Very flammable!
BAH! Its not a party until you throw some hydrogen in there.
Nice work!
Thanks!
Didnāt Max Pruss say that same thing right before his final approach? [:(]
Magnificent work, Philo!
Sure is good paint!
When you think about it!
Whatās the largest thing moved with the smallest motive power? the Zeppelins! Back in those days anyway!
Looks like itās ready for liftoff.
Indeed! It is the square-cube law in action. Large ships are very efficient also, for same reason, but water viscosity (skin friction) is higher for water than air, plus even at slow speed there is some wave drag.
Now I have to find a set of decals⦠Might prove to be difficultā¦
Should I show the bad side that is really messed up?
Not even close.
Wyoming coal trains coming out of Powder River Basin.

Looking GREAT !!! Iād love to take a shot at building one until the cheapest one I could find started at $200.00 !!! Some guys are asking upwards of $480⦠wha ???
Bill;
I was talking about the largest single unit, Not the heaviest!
Yes they are very expensive, even the vac firm versions.I only had to pay 13 bucks for shipping, although it did entail a lot of bodywork.
That really looks good! Iāve done a few airships in smaller scales, but Iām not sure I could do justice to one that big.
Great work!
Thanks for the kind words!I appreciate it!
Even then, I have my doubts. Charts that I have seen show LTA and large ships less energy per ton mile. Iāll have to look for that chart.
