i just bought the model its 1/72nd scale and all in all a quick build[:(] except for one thing… the propeller on the dauntlees is fine except for one thing … on e of the blades is too small by about a 1/4 of an inch now im thinking did testors screw up or does the SBD have a short prop???
If the blades in your kit are unequal length, then Testors screwed up!! If an aircraft was fitted with a prop with unequal blades the prop, the engine, and probably half the airframe, would tear themselves to bits very quickly!! Time to go look for a replacement prop methinks [:D]
Sounds like you got a short shot, where the plastic didn’t fill the mold. All 3 blades should be the same length. You might try contacting Testors for a replacement.

I’m about to melt thier B-2, and I gave up trying to fix the dauntless. Look inside the fusalage. It should say HAWK. At least they could scrach out the previous manafactuors name.
