Testors F-4G Wild Weasel - Can I convert this model into a Nam era F-4E?

I recently picked up the Testors F-4G Wild Weasel kit. Is it possible to convert this kit into a Vietnam era F-4E? Are there major physical characteristics between the two? Additionally, are the colors of the two the same?

The F-4G kit was based on their F-4E, but with add-on parts (antennas, weapons, etc.) to make it a ‘G’. As I recall, it has the slatted wings which were introduced later in the war, so you wouldn’t be able to do an early war ‘E’. Depends on the specific aircraft and timeframe you want to do.
