testor's dull cote drying time

how long does a coat of testor’s dull cote from the spray can take to dry? either to the touch or enough to apply another coat?

I’ve never timed dry to touch, but I wait about half an hour between coats, and that has worked pretty well.

well it’s been at least some 8 hours now, so i guess it should be safe…

with your lacquers they flash off pretty quickly, BUT they may soften underlying coats.

the problem with Dullcoat/Glosscoat is it is a lacquer, intended to topcoat Model Master enamels, which are easily softened by the lacquer and take a bit longer to totally dry again.

I would wait a bit, I typically give it a couple of hours, overnight to be safe.
