Has anybody here used one of those blue Testor’s air compressor’s? I’m thinking about buying one but I haven’t really checked them out. The price seems right but are they reliable etc.? Thanks --Spencer
Also what about Tamiya airbrushes?

yes, I’ve got one and I’ve done about 8 models with it. I have never owned another compressor so i can’t compare, but I’m happy with it and my Paasche airbrush.
I got mine from Hobby Lobby for $69, from memory.
Thanks
Neil
If the compressors are anywhere as bad as the airbrushes, then just say
NO!!
go for something nicer like the paasche d500, silentaire scorpion II, (if you have more to spend) a Jun air one, or a iwata sprint/smart jet
Thanks you guys. I think I’m going to wait a little longer and get the Paasche at the LHS for $169.00. I really do hate my Testor’s airbrush and I’d rather give my money to the little man instead of the large corporation. They also have a Tamiya airbrush for the same price. Anybody here own one or ever use one? Thanks again. --Spencer
I have used a tamiya airbrush at a demonstration at the LHS, it was pretty nice, compared to the waste of plastic Testor calls an airbrush. but i think i will still back the iwata series as the best bang for your buck, i have three different models and i think they are worth every penny.
That is expensive. Which Paasche is it?
You can get a Silentaire Scorpion II or Createx (Sim Air) Intruder 2000 for that price.
