Testors Clear Coat over clear window parts

Hi Folks, First post here in a very long time.

I have a great deal of experience with clear coats except in this case.

I am finishing the Revell London Bus. There are many windows.

  1. How would gloss clear coat finish up on clear windows? If done in light coats very carefully?

  2. Is Testors still making this in the spray cans?

I would like to decal, glue in the windows then clear coat everything… if it will work.

Hopefully some of you auto modelers out there can answer this.

In my experience, I would not clear coat the windows.
