This is the first picture of my control tower I just built to add to my base I made for photographing my models. I built the control tower from the Airfix kit, I am now working on some Kubelwagons and fuel trucks.
In the next few weeks I will be building some hangers and possibly some wingless Bf 109s with some battle damage to put in those hangers

thats looks amazing! nice paint job.
i have a sugestion though: have the grass sround the hanger and runway kinda dity so it looks used.
Very nice build. Should provide an excellent backdrop for your photographs. What scale is it (i assume 1/72 ) ?

The scale of the models and control tower are 1/72 the addition of a few figures here and there in the background will help a great deal in the overall effect.

Lookin’ good, I’m doing a 1/72 scale airfield at the moment but from the British perspective with the same control tower and fuel trucks also by Airfix.

That looks awsome. But I have one gripe about all of this. No one makes this kind of stuff for 1/48th. If anyone knows where a guy can pick this kind of stuff up I would appreciate it. I can’t build 1/72 its too dang small for me.
