Here is some pics of f-16xl and p-40

f-16xl i made the colors custom , wheels were lost :< , missles need striples still, more dirt needed i think

p-40 landing gear not done, out of place, panel lines got erased by paint :< , canapoy not done or painted, bombs not added

also note i need more light when i take my pics, please tell me all that is wrong or right

i mostly do cars so not to familer with aircraft and what they should look like etc., dont worry about hurtint my feelings i need the truth to help me get better

G’day Themage,

I am sure we would enjoy looking at your F16 and P40. What you will have to do, however, is change the permissions in your Yahoo Album to allow access by everyone. You must have it set to personal (not to share) at the moment and we get an ‘unauthorised’ message. Let us know when you have changed it.

The link you have given in your second post takes me into your ‘themage2’ photo album but there are no photo’s there…are they in a different album?

I’ve had a look at your F16 and P40 and I think you have done a good job on both of them!. Do you intend to finish the landing gear and add the bombs to the P40? The only way any of us get better is by practice - none of us are any exception. You do need a bit more light on the subject when you take photo’s though. That way we can get a better idea of weathering effects and overall finish. Keep up the great work and if you have any specific questions this is the place to post them.

thanks alot bob, i got a single floresent lamp that as you can see does not put out much light i need to start looking for some more

also its hard to see much detail on the models , will try to find better sites to host my pictures

also the models are 1/72 scale thanks again

Themage, I really like your models!!! You did a fantastic job!!! Cool idea doing the negative effect on the jet!! I’m always fascinated by 1/72 as they seem a bit small for me!! Me having clumsy hands and all!! LOL Please post some more when you get some!!

opps i forgot the p40 is 48th scale and still is pretty small the xl is 72nd scale

For someone who usually doesn’t model aircraft I think you did a pretty good job on them. I always liked the F-16xl just wish someone would do it in 1/48th (HINT HINT) [:-^][:-^]. But I guess that could be my first attempt at scratch building.

ya 48th scale would help , lot of the rasied panel lines did not show up too good so what i did was lightly drybrush silver over top of them so you can see them better it might not be too realastic but at least you can see them on there
