Fabio, I looked and looked and I couldn’t come up with anything. Someone around here has served in the AF and they will say.
Thank you armorman…I´ll waiting…
maximum dimensions for slab in 1/72 is 10in.-25.4 cm; in 1/48 15"-38cm ;in 1/32 is 22.5" -57 cm Soviet tarmacs used smaller slabs to make repairs easier.
The knowledge you guys retain is absolutely amazing, how do you guys do it?
I am a cyborg! ha ha.
Thank you Merkin, but I need the dimensions of each plate of Tarmac (the real thing)…
Regards
You just need to multiply the dimensions he gave by the scale:
10" x 72 = 720" or 60’ square
I think I understand (I guess)…each plate (square plates) have 720 inches x 720 inches (or 18,29 m x 18,29 m)…isn´t it? But, I think that squares is smaller than it, take a look in this picture of Verlinden Tarmac Airfield carton…I guess this rectangles (or squares) is smaller than this dimensions… (25,4 x 25,4 cm in 1/72 scale)…
Thank you Music and Merkin
