tape residue removal

Hi everyone,

I used Tamiya tape to mask a canopy for a P-47 and now it has residue on it. Does anybody know of a safe way to remove? The tape was on for a while as I had to stop modeling for a few months in-between when I did the masking and the actual painting. Thanks for the help.

try a little bit rubbing alchol on a q-tip.
