Aside from US and UK forces, (M1 and Challenger II variants) has any other country sent MBTs or IFVs to Iraq since March 2003? I’m sure there are plenty of various wheeled AFVs from contributing countries, but it does not seem like anyone else sent of has any tanks or IFVs there.
I beleive Italy had some of their new Ariete’s over there for a bit. Will look for the link. Cant remember where I saw it. They had add-on armour too.
Ray is correct. The only other tanks that I know of are the Italian Ariets that were there in '03-'04. For other AFVs, the S. Koreans had K200s and the Aussies have ASLAVs there. I’m not sure of any other AFVs deployed. Like you said, just about every coalition nation has some type of wheeled armored cars as well.
Hungarians brought along some BTR-80As (The ones with the external cannon) I saw at Balad once.
NTM
i believe the dutch had some ypr’s and fuch’s in 2003
I thought I read that the Poles or Ukranians had a small group of armor over there. Guess I was wrong.

Not that it helps anyone a helluva lot, but we also sent some of our locally made Bushmaster IMV’s to the region too.
Hmmmm…did the Bushmaster’s go to Iraq? I thought they only went to Afghanistan. I have only seen pics of them in Afghanistan. …i will be wrong…[:-^]
EDIT: I did some reasearch. I was wrong. There are Bushmasters in Iraq!
Supposed to research first…then post…[banghead]
Boomer…
As far as I know, yes we do have some Bushmasters in Iraq.
It seems one was damaged by an IED several weeks ago. ADF media release here.
