hi gang, other tnan using an old tread, whats a good way to make track marks behind the tank ?what medium ? thanks
when the base material is still a little bit damp press the model into material. then carefully lift off. Do this in the areas behid the tank and under the tank.
You can use the model itself. As John said, just press the tank into the groundwork while still wet. To eliminate any material sticking to the tank, take some seran wrap (clear, plastic wrap) and lay it gently on the groundwork, then press the model into the groundwork over the wrap. You can remove the tank, but leave the plastic until the ground material begins to cure. Remove it gently, and you should have a nice imprint of your treads.
hey zokissima, great tip you having there with the seran wrap [;)] normaly i’ve just use a toothbrush to remove the groundwork back from the track [xx(] this now will be verry easy [;)] thanks
